感恩母親 致敬母愛

Happy Mother's Day


上周,G1.3同學(xué)們親手制作了手工花作為母親節(jié)禮物送給媽媽們。孩子們精心設(shè)計(jì)了花朵的顏色,還將想要跟媽媽表達(dá)的祝福寫在了“花盆”里。大家一起錄制了一個母親節(jié)驚喜視頻,表達(dá)對媽媽的愛。媽媽們紛紛回復(fù)說:看到視頻后眼里滿是感動的淚水。

Kids in G1.3 tried to make a flowerpot as their Mother’s Day gift last week. They chose the color of the flowers they want to design and wrote some sweet words inside the flowerpot to their mom. Besides, they created a surprise video and expressed their love to mom. When mom received this video, they said their eyes are in tears.


母親節(jié)前夕,PK2.6班同學(xué)們共同錄制了視頻,將對媽媽的愛通過歌聲來傳遞。

Before Mother's Day, our little tigers in PK2.6 singed a song together for their beloved moms.

上周,K6班同學(xué)一起學(xué)習(xí)了古詩《游子吟》。通過穿衣、整理書包、紙板穿線和按順序擺放詩句四項(xiàng)接力活動,小小虎們進(jìn)一步感受了媽媽的辛苦,并加深了對古詩的理解。

We learnt the poem Wandering Son together and through activities like dressing, tidying up the school bag, threading cardboard and placing verses in order, we learned how hard a mother could be when taking care of her children and deepened the understanding of this poem.


長不大的彼得潘

Peter Pan Show



著名兒童故事《小飛俠彼得·潘》由J.M.Barrie撰寫,講述了達(dá)林一家與 "不肯長大 "的男孩彼得·潘的冒險故事。

“Peter Pan is a well-known children’s story, written by J. M. Barrie, which tells the tale of the Darling family and their adventures with Peter Pan, the boy who ‘wouldn’t grow up”.



G3.2班同學(xué)在完成英文課第三單元的學(xué)習(xí)后,對所學(xué)兩個版本的《小飛俠彼得·潘》進(jìn)行了文學(xué)批評,并以演示文稿的形式進(jìn)行了匯報。隨后,同學(xué)們分別選擇了自己想要改寫的場景,在敘事規(guī)劃思維導(dǎo)圖上制作出了原始場景中的要素,并嘗試找出即使有所變動也不會影響故事結(jié)尾的因素。在動筆修改人物對話、描述、單詞和短語等內(nèi)容之前,同學(xué)們先起草了自己改寫后的故事場景。

Part of completing Module Three Unit Three required that our students critique the two versions of Peter Pan that was studied. Subsequently they prepared a presentation celebrating the Darling children’s adventure. After selecting a scene to revise, they map out the original scene on a Narrative Planning graphic organizer. They then determined which parts of the scene to revise that won’t change the outcome. Students then drafted their revised scene before revising dialogue and description, possessives, word and phrase choice, and temporal words and phrases.



為了致敬這部經(jīng)典作品,同學(xué)們最終以劇場表演的形式來展示所學(xué)內(nèi)容。大家為本次展示精心準(zhǔn)備了道具。為了在演出時能有更流暢的表現(xiàn),同學(xué)們通過練習(xí)大聲朗讀新課文節(jié)選來熟悉內(nèi)容。這項(xiàng)練習(xí)不僅是為表演時的大聲朗讀做準(zhǔn)備,也是為單元末的評估做準(zhǔn)備。

Students used a theatre production highlighting Peter Pan. They prepared their own props for their presentation and practice using the scripts to present. Students also practiced reading their new excerpts of text aloud for fluency, in preparation for reading their revised scene aloud in the performance task presentation, and in preparation for the end-of-unit assessment.


在合作修改場景的過程中,同學(xué)們增強(qiáng)了自己的團(tuán)隊(duì)協(xié)作能力。在準(zhǔn)備表演的過程中,更是鍛煉了自己的意志力。

Students practice collaboration as they work with others to plan their revised scenes, and perseverance as a build up to their performance.



這是我校大劇場第一場以班級為單位的演出,Tammy老師,Chole老師和Matthew老師為此付出了辛勤的努力。華麗的布景轉(zhuǎn)換,整場演出的聲音、燈光和投影控制等等,這一切都為夢幻島的神奇氣氛增色不少。

Although this was the first class performance of BBSZ in the Grand Theatre, the hard work put into the show by the three teachers (Mrs. Naik, Ms. Chloe and Mr. Matthew) was obvious. The slick set transitions as we shifted from each scene within seconds controlling the sound, lighting and projections throughout the show, which all added to the magical atmosphere of Neverland.


全體演員和主角之間的配合非常默契,大家共同創(chuàng)造了一個精彩的戲劇作品。G3.2班的每一位同學(xué)都表現(xiàn)得很棒!

The collaboration between the ensemble and leads was evident throughout as they worked together to create an incredible piece of theatre. Well done to each and every student of Grade 3.2.
