2022年6月19日，深圳IPC國(guó)際校區(qū)（SIPC）2022屆初中畢業(yè)典禮在深圳國(guó)際預(yù)科學(xué)院（SIFC）隆重舉行。

Witnessed by their parents, school leaders and teachers, 25 students from G8 received their graduation certificates and would head for a brand-new high school journey.

25名G8的同學(xué)，在家長(zhǎng)、學(xué)校領(lǐng)導(dǎo)以及老師們的見證下，接過(guò)凝聚著中學(xué)時(shí)代的努力與汗水的畢業(yè)證書，即將奔赴全新的高中旅程。

“The Grade 9 school year is an exciting time in many different ways. You will not only be the youngest group of students on campus but you will also have to get used to a new school cultural environment and group of teachers……We also encourage you to get involved in the culture of the school. Join the house activities and community service activities so you can build a portfolio. This portfolio will help you when you apply for university applications,” SIPC foreign principal, Mr. Raynard Schneider, not only congratulated the G8 students on their graduation, but he also gave them an insight into their high school years ahead.

“接下來(lái)的九年級(jí)是一個(gè)令人非常興奮的學(xué)年，你們不僅會(huì)成為校園里最年輕的一批學(xué)生，更要去適應(yīng)新的學(xué)校文化、校園環(huán)境和教師集體。在努力學(xué)習(xí)之余，也別忘了積極參與到學(xué)校的文化建設(shè)中去，這將成為你們未來(lái)繼續(xù)深造的寶貴經(jīng)驗(yàn)?！盨IPC外方校長(zhǎng)Raynard Schneider先生不但祝賀了G8的同學(xué)們順利畢業(yè)，也為他們描繪了有趣又豐富的未來(lái)高中生活。

As the vice-principal of SIFC, Ms. Kennis Li mentioned that high school life is always busy and fulfilling. Facing the new high school life, her advice for students is, “you need a plan for your high school life and try your best to achieve your goal.”

作為SIFC的中方副校長(zhǎng)，李婭校長(zhǎng)也受邀在畢業(yè)典禮上致辭。她提到高中生活總是很忙碌、很充實(shí)。面對(duì)全新的高中生活，她給同學(xué)們的建議是，“當(dāng)你們踏上高中之旅，你們要開始有自己的規(guī)劃，要有自己的目標(biāo)并為之而努力?！?

The academic principal of SIFC, Ms. Tracy Yu expressed her welcome to the students who will be entering the SIFC campus and wished the graduating students a wonderful vacation and prepare to present their best sides in their high school years.

SIFC學(xué)術(shù)校長(zhǎng)于怡婷女士在致辭中表達(dá)了對(duì)即將進(jìn)入SIFC校園的同學(xué)們的歡迎，祝愿畢業(yè)生們擁有一個(gè)美好的假期，并做好準(zhǔn)備在高中時(shí)代展示自己最好的一面。

In the teachers’ speech session, Ms. Stephanie, the director of the middle school, expressed her blessings and gratitude to the students. “I feel grateful to you guys for having shared your joy, excitement, diligence, and kindness with us. Because of each one of you, SIPC has been filled up with happiness and friendliness.” Talking about the future, she also hoped that students can search for their passions by being open-minded and giving a try in different subjects or fields.

在老師致辭的環(huán)節(jié)，SIPC中學(xué)部負(fù)責(zé)人范老師表達(dá)了對(duì)同學(xué)們的祝福和感謝?！案兄x你們與我分享你們的喜悅、興奮、勤奮和善良，因?yàn)槟銈儯琒IPC充滿了快樂(lè)和友善?！睂?duì)于未來(lái)的學(xué)習(xí)與生活，范老師希望同學(xué)們可以保持思想的開闊，積極嘗試新事物，找到自己真正的熱愛。

Mr. William, the social studies teacher for G8 students, said he has been more than fortunate to be part of G8 students’ learning experience in middle school. He also believes that they are able to tackle their high school experience with ease and happiness. “Don’t forget to always work hard in order to get what you want in life, follow your inner voice and remember that life is a beautiful journey,” he said.

社會(huì)學(xué)老師William說(shuō)自己很幸運(yùn)可以成為G8同學(xué)們的老師，成為他們中學(xué)時(shí)代里的一部分。他相信同學(xué)們一定可以輕松愉快地應(yīng)對(duì)高中生活。“也請(qǐng)記住，生活是一個(gè)美麗的旅程，你們要遵循自己內(nèi)心的聲音。”在致辭的最后，William老師說(shuō)。

As the student counsellor of G8, Ms. Loretta said she was proud of G8 students. She wanted to tell the students that making mistakes was not equal to failure. Making mistakes is one of the parts of life and a valuable experience.

作為與同學(xué)們朝夕相對(duì)的學(xué)生導(dǎo)師，林老師在致辭中說(shuō)她為G8的同學(xué)們感到驕傲。她也希望告訴同學(xué)們，失誤并不等同于失敗。這是生活中的一部分，是非常寶貴的經(jīng)驗(yàn)。

Student representative Derek has met diverse challenges in the past year. He also won the gold medal in Ivy Cup English Competition and Distinction in AMC 8 Match Competition. He said he cannot overcome these challenges and achieve such achievements without the support of SIPC teachers, the company of G8 classmates, and the understanding of his parents. “I successfully graduated, and these challenges have shaped me into who I am now,” he said at the end of his speech.

來(lái)自G8 Saturn班的Derek作為學(xué)生代表致辭，在過(guò)去的一年，他遇到了很多挑戰(zhàn)，也在常春藤杯英語(yǔ)比賽中獲得了金獎(jiǎng)、AMC 8數(shù)學(xué)比賽中獲得了優(yōu)秀獎(jiǎng)。他之所以能戰(zhàn)勝這些困難，并獲得了一些小小的成就，都離不開老師的支持、同學(xué)的陪伴以及家長(zhǎng)的理解。“我成功地畢業(yè)了，我所經(jīng)歷的挑戰(zhàn)將我塑造成了現(xiàn)在的我。”Derek說(shuō)。

Derek’s mother, Ms. Serena gave her speech as the parent representative. “Our children are lucky to have met such a great group of teachers at SIPC,” she said. She also wished G8 students the courage and perseverance to pursue upward mobility.

Derek的媽媽作為家長(zhǎng)代表上臺(tái)致辭時(shí)說(shuō)，SIPC聚集了一大批優(yōu)秀的老師，這是孩子們的幸運(yùn)。她祝愿同學(xué)們擁有向上的勇氣和堅(jiān)韌不拔的毅力。

In the certificate presentation session, students dressed in formal attire came up to the stage and received their graduation certificates from the principal. This certificate is not only a record of their efforts, successes and experiences in middle school but also a starting point to the future and a bigger world. When they received the certificates, they had taken the first step in their high school years.

在畢業(yè)證書頒發(fā)環(huán)節(jié)，同學(xué)們身穿正裝，依次上臺(tái)，從Ray校長(zhǎng)手中接過(guò)畢業(yè)證書。這一張證書不但記錄著他們?cè)诔踔袝r(shí)代所付出的努力、收獲的成功和經(jīng)歷過(guò)的時(shí)光，更是通向未來(lái)、走向更大的世界的起點(diǎn)。當(dāng)接過(guò)畢業(yè)證書，他們已經(jīng)邁出高中時(shí)代的第一步。

To welcome this special day, the G8 students prepared for a long time and gave an amazing show at the ceremony, including four-hand ammunition, pop band performance, and group dance.

為了迎接這一個(gè)特別的日子，G8的同學(xué)們籌備許久，準(zhǔn)備了精彩的節(jié)目。用默契十足的四手聯(lián)彈，時(shí)尚動(dòng)感的樂(lè)隊(duì)演出，以及充滿青春活力的集體舞蹈慶祝屬于自己的畢業(yè)日。
