從小學(xué)到中學(xué)的過(guò)渡同樣包括從小學(xué)跨學(xué)科的方法到中學(xué)的超學(xué)科方法。這個(gè)過(guò)渡還包括學(xué)生要更好的管理自己并承擔(dān)更多責(zé)任。關(guān)注像溝通和自我管理的學(xué)習(xí)技能的方法對(duì)學(xué)生獲得成功和自信就變得很有必要。

At ISNS, Grade 5 is a pivotal year, especially as students face the transition from PYP to MYP. During their time in PYP, students have a homeroom teacher instructing them on their core subjects along with specialists for subjects like Music, Visual Art, PHE, and Mandarin. The class typically moves together when attending their specialist classes. In MYP, students have a homeroom to start the day, and then they go on to their individual schedule, attending a variety of classes each with a different teacher.

The transition from PYP to MYP also includes moving from a transdisciplinary approach in the PYP to an interdisciplinary approach in the MYP. This transition also encompasses the need for students to organize themselves better and take greater responsibility. The focus on the Approaches to Learning Skills like communication and self-management becomes a greater necessity for student success and confidence.

At ISNS, the transition from PYP to MYP is more than just ensuring students are familiar with the teachers, schedule, and environment. It's about creating confidence in our students and letting them know that they have the tools and training to make a successful transition. Surrounding all this, are the relationships our Grade 5 students build with the Grade 6 team along with their Principal, Coordinator, and Counsellor. These relationships are central in creating a safe environment for our students to thrive in MYP.

在ISNS, 5年級(jí)是關(guān)鍵的一年,尤其是學(xué)生要面臨從小學(xué)到中學(xué)的過(guò)渡。學(xué)生在小學(xué)會(huì)有一個(gè)班主任監(jiān)督引導(dǎo)他們學(xué)習(xí)核心課程,同時(shí)還有專業(yè)的音樂(lè),視覺(jué)藝術(shù),體育和中文等專業(yè)老師的陪伴,基本是同一個(gè)班級(jí)在一起上專業(yè)課。而在中學(xué),學(xué)生在正式上課前會(huì)見(jiàn)到班主任,然后根據(jù)自己的課程安排和不同的老師上不同的課。

在ISNS, 從小學(xué)到中學(xué)的過(guò)渡不僅僅是確保學(xué)生能熟悉老師,課程安排和環(huán)境,更是為了在我們學(xué)生中建立自信,讓他們知道有工具和培訓(xùn)幫助他們成功地完成轉(zhuǎn)變。圍繞著這一切,我們5年級(jí)學(xué)生和6年級(jí)團(tuán)隊(duì),還有他們的校長(zhǎng),協(xié)調(diào)員和輔導(dǎo)員建立起聯(lián)系,目的是努力給我們學(xué)生在中學(xué)部創(chuàng)建一個(gè)安全成長(zhǎng)環(huán)境。
