為了能讓您最大限度地利用好您的家長會時間，您可以提前準備以下事情：

*和孩子溝通他們是否遇到任何挑戰(zhàn)或問題，需要您和老師講述的。

*和孩子檢查并溝通他們作業(yè)，最近項目或活動的進展。一個很好的方式就是通過查看Seesaw賬號(小學)或Managebac(中學/大學預科班)了解您孩子最新情況。

*做筆記。在溝通過程寫下一些能幫助到您支持您孩子學習的建議是很重要的。

*分享。準備一些老師所不知道的您孩子的事情和老師分享，這樣老師可以更好的了解您孩子的內(nèi)心世界。

*提問題。你想要最大化地利用時間，這樣您可以提前想好要提的問題或甚至在見面會前發(fā)郵件給老師，老師們也可以有所準備地和您討論。

您和孩子的老師都有同樣的目標——讓孩子在學校成長起來和取得成功——盡管時間有限，或許您并不能討論完所有準備的問題，請放心您可以再安排另一個時間和您孩子的老師見面。

ISNS will be holding our Parent-Teacher Conferences next week on November 26, 1 PM-8 PM, and November 27, 8 AM-12 PM. Our teachers are excited to our parents about the learning and growth that their child has experienced in the classroom so far this year.

A parent-teacher conference is an excellent opportunity to:

*talk about how your child is doing,

*share about your child's strengths and areas of needs, and

*work with your child's teacher towards achievement and progress in their education.

At ISNS, we believe these opportunities are a crucial part of your students' success.

To maximize your time during the Parent-Teacher Conferences, here are some things you can do in advance to prepare:

Ask your child if there are challenges or questions that they want you to talk to the teacher about.

Check-in with your kids and ask about their progress in their homework and any recent projects or activities. One great way to stay up-to date in this is to view your child's SeeSaw account for PYP or ManageBac for MYP/DP.

Plan to take notes. It's essential to walk away with action items that can help you to further support your child’s learning.

Plan to share things about your child with the teacher that they may not already know so that your teacher can receive greater insight into your child.

Come with questions. You want to maximize this time, so plan out questions ahead of time that you can ask or even email to your teacher before the meeting so they can prepare to discuss them with you.

You and your child’s teacher have the same goal — your child’s success and growth at school — and although time may be limited and you may not be able to discuss all the items you have prepared, rest assured that you can set another time to meet with your child's teacher at a later date.
