“EPQ（Extended Project Qualification）研究性學(xué)習(xí)認(rèn)證”因?yàn)楦洗髮W(xué)對(duì)申請(qǐng)者核心能力的要求，近年來(lái)在英國(guó)教育界興盛不衰。幾乎所有英國(guó)著名高中都開設(shè)了EPQ課程，每年超過(guò)4萬(wàn)名英國(guó)高中生參加EPQ。學(xué)生最高可以獲得UCAS 28學(xué)分加分，等同半個(gè)A-Level學(xué)科課程成績(jī)。牛津、劍橋、帝國(guó)理工、倫敦政經(jīng)、倫敦大學(xué)學(xué)院等英國(guó)頂級(jí)名校官方招生簡(jiǎn)章明確推薦，拉夫堡、華威、巴斯、蘭卡斯特、利茲等數(shù)十所著名大學(xué)承諾可以替代一門AS成績(jī)降分錄取。EPQ認(rèn)證是優(yōu)等生從同等成績(jī)的申請(qǐng)者中脫穎而出的加分神器。對(duì)于中等生或偏科生而言，EPQ不分專業(yè)，申請(qǐng)時(shí)可以替換一門AS薄弱學(xué)科成績(jī)，是補(bǔ)學(xué)科短板的額外保險(xiǎn)。

EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) is a qualification of academic research which is strongly recommended by the UK Department of Education (DfE) and UCAS. It is a qualification that does not require an examination. EPQ A* is equivalent to half of an A-Level and 28 UCAS point and is officially recommended by leading universities, such as University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, King's College London etc. It is also accepted by several famous universities for the replacement of one lower grade AS subject in conditional offers, including Loughborough University, Lancaster University, the University of Warwick, University of Bath etc.
