時(shí)間回到2020年。這一年，對(duì)于今年即將畢業(yè)的Eason He同學(xué)而言是意義非凡的。他創(chuàng)作的世界客屬第三十屆懇親大會(huì)主題曲《HAKKA 客家》，獲得了第十二屆華語(yǔ)金曲獎(jiǎng)，他與國(guó)內(nèi)知名歌手周杰倫、陳奕迅、鄧紫棋、謝霆鋒、薛之謙等一線歌手同臺(tái)領(lǐng)獎(jiǎng)。為此，他還接受過(guò)香港商報(bào)的專(zhuān)訪。

2020 is a big year for Eason He. HAKKA, the theme song of the 30th Hakka Friendship Conference, won the 12th Chinese Golden Melody Award. And he received the award on the same stage with well-known Chinese singers, such as Jay Chou, Eason Chan, Deng Ziqi, Nicholas Tse, Xue Zhiqian, and other popular singers. He also accepted an exclusive interview with the Hong Kong Commercial Daily.

關(guān)于獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)和榮譽(yù)，Eason能說(shuō)出不少的故事。

There are a lot stories behind Eason’s winning awards and honors.

2017那一年，他參與香港回歸20周年主題曲《紫荊花開(kāi)》的創(chuàng)作，獲得華語(yǔ)金曲榜第267期第7位的排名；同年，他擔(dān)任客語(yǔ)流行音樂(lè)《月光光秀才郎》的制作人，并在2018年獲得第二屆客家童謠節(jié)十佳童謠、原創(chuàng)童謠銀獎(jiǎng)、華語(yǔ)童聲榜十大金曲獎(jiǎng)；2020年，他原創(chuàng)抗疫歌曲《我為你祈禱》的MV 獲得了第六屆微電影大賽的優(yōu)秀獎(jiǎng)，登上了深圳衛(wèi)視和學(xué)習(xí)強(qiáng)國(guó)；2021年，他獲得了梅州市優(yōu)秀年度音樂(lè)人獎(jiǎng)以及年度十大原創(chuàng)歌曲獎(jiǎng)……

For example, in 2017, he participated in the creation of "Bauhinia Blossoms", the theme song of the 20th anniversary celebrating Hong Kong's return to the motherland, which won the 7th place in the 267th issue of the “Chinese Golden Melody List”. In the same year, Eason became the producer of a popular Hakka song “Moonlight and Scholar” , and won the Top Ten Nursery Rhymes Award in the 2nd Hakka Nursery Rhyme Festival in 2018, the Silver Award of Original Nursery Rhymes, and the Top Ten Golden Song Awards in the Chinese Children's Voice Chart; in 2020, the MV of his original anti-pandemic song "I Pray for You" won the Excellence Award of the Sixth Short-film Competition and has been listed on Shenzhen Satellite TV and Learning Power; in 2021, he won the Meizhou Outstanding Musician of the Year Award and the Top Ten Original Songs of the Year...

“我見(jiàn)證了自己高中四年的成長(zhǎng)，也完成了四年前許下的愿望。一直堅(jiān)持的夢(mèng)想，讓我明白有種執(zhí)念叫做不放棄。”Eason說(shuō)。

"I have witnessed my growth during the four years in high school, and I have also fulfilled the wish I made four years ago. The dream that I have always adhered to has made me understand that there is a positive kind of obsession called not giving up." Eason said.

在深國(guó)預(yù)舉辦的Music Season音樂(lè)會(huì)上，Eason也屢屢獲獎(jiǎng)。但獲獎(jiǎng)不是最重要的，重要的是，每一次的校園演出，他都玩得盡興。這無(wú)形中給了他唱下去的動(dòng)力，他的嗓音清澈、稚嫩，卻剛?cè)岵?jì)、有穿透力，歌聲中溫柔的力量感染著我們每一個(gè)人。

Eason has also won multiple awards in the Music Season concerts held in SIFC. But winning awards is not the most important thing, the important thing is that he had a great time in every campus performance, which gave him the motivation to continue to sing. His voice has a penetrating power, clear and tender, but also firm and strong. His gentle yet powerful voice is always contagious.

Inherit the culture with music

Eason的原創(chuàng)曲目，大多都與客家傳統(tǒng)文化相關(guān)，比如《HAKKA》和《故事》。因?yàn)?/span>Eason He的祖籍是梅縣區(qū)南口鎮(zhèn)，他是一個(gè)地地道道的客家人。

Most of Eason's original tracks are related to the Hakka traditional culture, such as "HAKKA" and "Story". Since his hometown is Nankou Town, Meixian District, he is an authentic Hakka.

葉志茹先生曾在《淺談客家精神及其形成》這樣概括客家精神：一是百折不撓、銳意進(jìn)??；二是艱苦創(chuàng)業(yè)、奮斗求新；三是愛(ài)國(guó)愛(ài)族，精誠(chéng)團(tuán)結(jié)；四是崇文尚武、器重名節(jié)；五是敬老愛(ài)幼、繼祖崇宗；六是勤儉持家、樂(lè)善好施；七是追求革命、主持正義；八是為人忠誠(chéng)，耀祖光宗。

Mr. Ye Zhiru once summed up features of the Hakka spirit in "On the Hakka Spirit and Its Formation": first, not afraid of difficulties and self-motivated; second, courageous to start a business and innovate; third, loving the country and the people, and united; fourth, conforming to etiquette; fifth, respecting the elderly, protecting children, and respecting ancestors; sixth, frugal and helpful; seventh, upholding fairness and justice; eighth, loyal and honoring the ancestors.

客家精神是來(lái)自五千年歷史文化的沉積，來(lái)自萬(wàn)里遷徙的磨練，來(lái)自偏僻山區(qū)惡劣環(huán)境的鍛造，來(lái)自祖輩一代一代的言傳身教。Eason認(rèn)為，音樂(lè)作為一種藝術(shù)形式，應(yīng)該承載更多的文化表達(dá)。

The Hakka spirit comes from five thousand years of history and culture, from thousands of miles of migration, from the harsh environment in remote mountainous areas, and from the words and deeds of the ancestors passed down from generation to generation. Eason believes that music, as an art form, should carry more cultural expressions.

Eason曾在深國(guó)預(yù)中華文化月的舞臺(tái)上演唱過(guò)一首歌，叫《故事》，改編自流傳千年的客家童謠《月光光》。這是一首以思念為主題的原創(chuàng)歌曲，傾訴著客家人民的鄉(xiāng)音鄉(xiāng)情，牽動(dòng)著在外打拼的游子心。

Eason once sang a song called "Story" on the stage of SIFC’s Culture Month, which was adapted from the Hakka nursery rhyme "Moonlight", which has been popular for thousands of years. It is an original song with the theme of nostalgia. It talks about the local accent and the nostalgic feelings of the Hakka people who have to work far away from their hometown.

“回來(lái)吧，有人在等你啊，治愈你的傷疤，等風(fēng)平浪靜，才能無(wú)牽無(wú)掛……” Eason與樂(lè)隊(duì)呈現(xiàn)的深沉而細(xì)膩的鄉(xiāng)愁，令人潸然。

"Come back, someone is waiting for you. Heal your scars, and wait until the wind is calm, so that you can have nothing to worry about." The deep and delicate nostalgic feelings presented by Eason and the band often move the audience to tears.

Eason說(shuō)：“這首歌能喚起世界各地客家人的共鳴，無(wú)論在哪里聽(tīng)到這首童謠，他們都會(huì)感到非常親切。我改編的版本里融合了傳統(tǒng)和流行元素。古樂(lè)重聲，我想賦予這首歌更多自己的理解與感悟。我想將這首歌獻(xiàn)給一直以來(lái)陪伴我成長(zhǎng)的老師和家人們，表達(dá)對(duì)他們的不舍和感激。當(dāng)我們長(zhǎng)大后，慢慢變獨(dú)立、堅(jiān)強(qiáng)；而那些曾經(jīng)為你撐腰和愛(ài)你的人，已經(jīng)慢慢離開(kāi)、老去。”

Eason said: "This song resonates with Hakka people from all over the world, and wherever they hear this nursery rhyme, they will recall the good old memories. The version I adapted combines traditional and popular elements as well as ancient music because I want to give this song more of my own understanding and perception. I want to dedicate this song to the teachers and family members who have been with me and express my gratitude to them. As we grow up, we become more independent and stronger; while those who used to support and love us have gradually grown old and left."

客家文化在Eason的音樂(lè)里，似乎更加鮮活了，不僅有穿越時(shí)空的精神傳承，也述說(shuō)著一個(gè)少年的成長(zhǎng)故事。

Hakka culture seems to become more vivid in Eason's music. It not only inherits the spirit through time and space, but also depicts a growth story of a young man.

助力抗疫，不負(fù)少年

Teenager who wrote a song about covid-19

Eason的音樂(lè)里，總有一種溫暖感，這是對(duì)身邊的人與社會(huì)的關(guān)懷和責(zé)任感。

In Eason's music, there is always a sense of warmth, which is a sense of care and responsibility for the people and society around him.

2020年，疫情形勢(shì)非常嚴(yán)峻，Eason寫(xiě)下了一首抗疫歌曲《我為你祈禱》，今天聽(tīng)來(lái)，依然感動(dòng)。這首歌由Eason作詞、作曲，并號(hào)召了深國(guó)預(yù)的老師、學(xué)生會(huì)，以及遠(yuǎn)在美、英、澳、法的深國(guó)預(yù)校友及國(guó)際友人一起錄制抗疫MV。

In 2020, when the pandemic broke out, Eason wrote and composed a song about covid-19 "I Pray for You". He also called on the teachers, the student union and SIFC alumni far away in the United States, Britain, Australia and France to shoot the music video together.

“我寫(xiě)這首歌的初心是希望大家可以在封城的日子里，仍然懷有堅(jiān)定的信念和希望。我們需要一首正能量的歌曲，把世界各地的人團(tuán)結(jié)在一起，大家眾志成城、共同抗疫，一起期待疫情后的美好生活。”

'My original intention to write this song is to hope that everyone can still have firm belief and hope in these days of lockdown. We need a song with positive energy that will unite people from all over the world. Let’s fight together against Covid-19 and look forward to a better life after the pandemic.'

“我們明天一定會(huì)更美好，我為你祈禱，愿你們安好，陪著你日日夜夜伴你左右，拋開(kāi)煩惱。I pray for you. We wish to see you. 多希望不要憂(yōu)愁不要恐懼，我會(huì)為你祈禱。” 音樂(lè)的力量可以撫平恐懼與焦慮，治愈每一個(gè)生命。

'We will definitely have a better tomorrow. I pray for you. May you be well. I will accompany you day and night by your side. Let go of your troubles. I pray for you. We wish to see you. I will pray for you.' The power of music soothes fear and anxiety and heals everyone who hears it.

“有種執(zhí)著叫永不放棄”

Eason說(shuō)自己的夢(mèng)想之一就是考上伯克利音樂(lè)學(xué)院。今年春天，這個(gè)夢(mèng)想實(shí)現(xiàn)了。

Eason said one of his dreams was to be admitted to Berklee College of Music, and this spring, that dream came true.

“我希望我在伯克利學(xué)習(xí)的四年里可以成為一名成熟的原創(chuàng)音樂(lè)人。”

'I hope my four years at Berkeley will make me a full-fledged original musician.'

“在audition（面試）的前幾個(gè)月是我最緊張的，也是壓力最大的。那段時(shí)間，我花很多時(shí)間去打磨專(zhuān)業(yè)技能，包括聲樂(lè)、視唱練耳、即興演唱。除了練習(xí)之外，我會(huì)及時(shí)總結(jié)，并合理規(guī)劃自己的時(shí)間。只要堅(jiān)持，一切都是值得的。”

'The first few months of the audition were the most intense and stressful for me. During that time, I spent a lot of time honing my professional skills, including vocals, solfeggio, and improvisation. In addition to practice, I reflected and summarized in time and planned my time reasonably. As long as I persist, everything is worth it.'

Eason坦言，自己從小喜歡音樂(lè)，初中起就開(kāi)始寫(xiě)歌。一路走來(lái)，家人和老師們對(duì)他提供了莫大的支持。

Eason said that he liked music since he was a child, and started writing songs since junior high school. During this period, his family and teachers provided him with great support.

“我的家人都很信任我，并支持我的音樂(lè)夢(mèng)想。特別是我媽媽?zhuān)卸螘r(shí)間她積極地參加各種音樂(lè)相關(guān)的講座，并及時(shí)地把一切有用的信息都分享給我。學(xué)校為我提供了很多國(guó)外和校內(nèi)的演出機(jī)會(huì)，包括疫情前去泰國(guó)參加KPIS亞洲校園歌手大賽，給我留下了寶貴的經(jīng)驗(yàn)和回憶。每當(dāng)我因?yàn)檠莩鍪д`而感到沮喪時(shí)，Wendy博士總會(huì)第一個(gè)出現(xiàn)，給我鼓勵(lì)。還有Winson老師，他為我的音樂(lè)創(chuàng)作提供了很多專(zhuān)業(yè)的指導(dǎo)意見(jiàn)。”

'My family trusts me and supports my music dreams, especially my mother. She actively participated in various music-related lectures and shared all useful information with me afterwards. I have also been provided with many performance opportunities abroad and on campus, including going to Thailand to participate in the KPIS Asia Campus Singer Competition before covid-19, which has given me valuable experiences and memories. Whenever I feel frustrated due to performance mistakes, Dr. Wendy will always be the first to encourage me. Mr. Winson also provided me with a lot of professional guidance for my music creation.'

“在深國(guó)預(yù)，我最大的收獲就是找到了我學(xué)音樂(lè)的方向。以前，我總會(huì)去模仿一些歌手的嗓音和臺(tái)風(fēng)，但深國(guó)預(yù)的老師們幫我找到了屬于自己的風(fēng)格。”

'In SIFC, the biggest change for me is to find the direction of my music study. In the past, I always imitated the voices and styles of other singers, but the teachers of SIFC helped me find my own style.'

懷揣著對(duì)深國(guó)預(yù)深厚的感情，Eason為學(xué)院創(chuàng)作了一首校歌。目前，他正在和深國(guó)預(yù)音樂(lè)中心主任Winson老師和Wendy博士籌備歌曲的錄制和上線。“這首歌的創(chuàng)作靈感來(lái)自傅院長(zhǎng)對(duì)學(xué)生的寄語(yǔ)‘你們將飛往世界，與巨人肩并肩’以及深國(guó)預(yù)的校訓(xùn)‘融匯中西、坐言起行’，如果疫情緩和，大家會(huì)在今年學(xué)院的18周年校慶上聽(tīng)到這首歌。”

With strong feelings for SIFC, Eason composed a school song. Currently, he is preparing for the recording and launch of the song with Mr. Winson and Dr. Wendy, the director of the International Music Center. 'The inspiration for this song comes from Principal Fu's words, "You will fly to the world and stand shoulder to shoulder with giants" and from SIFC school motto "Combining China and the West, words and action". When the pandemic eases, everyone will hear it at the school's 18th anniversary.'

深國(guó)預(yù)音樂(lè)老師Wendy博士這樣形容Eason，“我沒(méi)法想象沒(méi)有Eason的生活?？梢哉f(shuō)，他是我的'夢(mèng)想中的學(xué)生'。Eason擁有強(qiáng)大的能力，他相信自己并持續(xù)追求自己的夢(mèng)想，任何人和事都無(wú)法阻止他的腳步。我相信他就是他所寫(xiě)的，深國(guó)預(yù)校歌中的‘鷹’，我知道他會(huì)‘飛往世界，創(chuàng)造更美好的明天’，并讓我們所有人都為他感到自豪！當(dāng)他開(kāi)辟前進(jìn)的道路時(shí)，他激勵(lì)我們所有人，更重要的是，他將成為一道光，成為深國(guó)預(yù)學(xué)生們追隨的榜樣。”

This is how music teacher Dr. Wendy describes Eason— “I can’t imagine being a Teacher at SIFC without having Eason He here to teach. To say he is the “dream student” for a Voice Teacher to work with is an understatement. Eason holds within himself the great ability to believe in himself and keep reaching for his dreams despite anything or anyone that would want to hold him back! I believe that Eason is the “Eagle” that he wrote about in his original composition for the SIFC school song. I know that he “will fly into the world, create a better tomorrow and that he will make us all proud!” And as he forges the path forward for us all to see, I know he will inspire us all; and most importantly, he will be a Light for all SIFC students to follow! Bravissimo Eason!”

我們生活在一個(gè)復(fù)雜的世界里，所有人都在渴望獲得更多，卻鮮少有人思考自己能為這個(gè)世界和人類(lèi)文明貢獻(xiàn)什么禮物。唯樂(lè)不可以為偽，Eason的音樂(lè)，為我們解答，給我們希望。在傳統(tǒng)與現(xiàn)代交織的樂(lè)章里，有純粹的音樂(lè)信仰、傳統(tǒng)文化精神和服務(wù)社會(huì)的責(zé)任。

We live in a complex world where everyone is trying to get more, but few think about what they can contribute to our civilization and the world. As the old Chinese saying goes—you cannot hide true happiness (meaning when a person feels true happiness, you cannot NOT feel it). Eason's music is inspiring and gives us hope. In his music where tradition and modernity are intertwined, you can see pure faith in music, inheritance of traditional culture and the responsibility to serve the society.
