圣比斯（東莞）最新上課時(shí)間更新及四月份模擬考試周安排。

圣比斯(東莞)作為英國(guó)圣比斯公學(xué)在中國(guó)直接創(chuàng)立的首個(gè)海外學(xué)習(xí)中心，始終傳承公學(xué)四百年精英教育理念，并融合中西方先進(jìn)教育教學(xué)方法，給學(xué)生帶來(lái)全新的國(guó)際教育體驗(yàn)。

我校開設(shè)11門IGCSE課程和15門A Level課程——包括經(jīng)濟(jì)、商學(xué)、數(shù)學(xué)、物理、生物、藝術(shù)、信息技術(shù)、心理學(xué)、音樂(lè)、舞蹈等，供學(xué)生自由選擇，充分發(fā)展個(gè)人興趣，申請(qǐng)理想大學(xué)和專業(yè)。

As the first overseas learning center directly established by St Bees School, St Bees Dongguan inherits the century-old elite education, integrates Chinese and Western advanced teaching, and offers authentic British IGCSE and A-level courses, bringing a brand-new international education experience to students.

We offer 11 IGCSE courses and 15 A Level courses--including economics, business, mathematics, physics, biology, art, information technology, psychology, music, and dance for students to freely choose from. Our curriculum enables students to fully develop personal interests and apply for suitable majors and universities.

01 上課時(shí)間表 Timetable

課程規(guī)劃著豐富的學(xué)業(yè)，課表規(guī)范著有序的作息。為更好匹配教學(xué)進(jìn)度，提升課堂質(zhì)量，挖掘?qū)W生潛能，我校對(duì)上課時(shí)間表進(jìn)行優(yōu)化調(diào)整，請(qǐng)家長(zhǎng)同學(xué)們查收新時(shí)間表，合理安排規(guī)劃。

The curriculum plans a wealth of studies, and the timetable standardizes work and rest. To better match the teaching progress, improve the class quality and bring out our students' potential, St Bees Dongguan has optimized and adjusted the class schedule. Please check the new schedule.

保留與優(yōu)化

新時(shí)間表仍然保留充分的學(xué)生活動(dòng)時(shí)間，除體育課外，周一至周四下午4點(diǎn)上完課后學(xué)生可參加院舍比賽、GCAS實(shí)踐項(xiàng)目以及各種社團(tuán)活動(dòng)，自由發(fā)展個(gè)人興趣愛好，培養(yǎng)團(tuán)隊(duì)精神和協(xié)作能力。

此外，我們還進(jìn)行了部分優(yōu)化調(diào)整：

全天由6節(jié)課增加至7節(jié)課;

上午7:45開始進(jìn)行第一節(jié)課;

個(gè)人導(dǎo)師面談?wù){(diào)整為下午15:30;

每節(jié)課時(shí)長(zhǎng)50分鐘;課間休息10分鐘;

周五不設(shè)第七節(jié)課，14:30-15:00學(xué)生放學(xué)。

Retention and optimization

The new timetable still retains sufficient time for student activities. Apart from Physical Education, students can participate in house competitions, GCAS and various club activities after class from Monday to Thursday at 4pm, so as to develop their personal interests freely and cultivate team spirit and cooperation.

In addition, we also made some adjustments:

-6 classes increased to 7 classes.

-first class begins at 7:45 am.

-personal mentor tutoring time has been changed to 3:30 pm.

-each class lasts for 50 minutes with 10 minutes break.

-no seventh period on Friday. Students can leave school from 2:30 to 3:00 pm.

新課表的優(yōu)勢(shì)

在教學(xué)方面，一周由30節(jié)課增加至34節(jié)課，增加的課程安排為英語(yǔ)課和專業(yè)課，提升學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)和學(xué)術(shù)能力;老師更方便連堂排課，有充分的課堂時(shí)間進(jìn)行完整的教學(xué)安排;學(xué)生有更充裕的時(shí)間在5月標(biāo)化考試前進(jìn)行?？茖ｍ?xiàng)的查缺補(bǔ)漏。

在學(xué)生方面，學(xué)生結(jié)束一天繁忙的課程后，下午可以與個(gè)人導(dǎo)師輕松愉悅地談?wù)勑?，聊聊今天的學(xué)習(xí)和校園生活趣事，更有利于身心發(fā)展;周五下午3點(diǎn)學(xué)生即可放學(xué)離校，充分考慮到廣州、深圳、佛山、惠州等外地學(xué)生回家的安全問(wèn)題。

Advantages of the new curriculum

In terms of teaching, the number of classes a week has increased from 30 to 34. The additional courses are arranged as English courses and professional courses to improve students' English and academic ability. It is more convenient for teachers to arrange classes in succession and have sufficient class time for a complete teaching arrangement. Students have more time to check and make up for deficiencies in specialized subjects before examinations in May.

In terms of students, after a busy day of classes, students can have a relaxed and pleasant talk with their mentor in the afternoon, they can talk about the interesting things that happened during study and campus life, which is more conducive to their physical and mental development. Students can leave school at 3 pm on Friday, taking into full consideration of the safety of students from other cities such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan and Huizhou.

02 四月模擬考試 Mock exam

5-6月，2019屆AS學(xué)生和2020屆一年制IG學(xué)生將參加國(guó)際標(biāo)化考試，考試成績(jī)將作為申請(qǐng)海外以及中國(guó)港澳臺(tái)地區(qū)大學(xué)的一項(xiàng)主要參考依據(jù)。

圣比斯(東莞)于創(chuàng)校元年就已經(jīng)獲得培生愛德思和牛津AQA兩大英國(guó)考試局授權(quán)，因此學(xué)生在校內(nèi)即可參加本次IGCSE和A Level的標(biāo)化考試。

培生愛德思：

英國(guó)最大的學(xué)術(shù)及職業(yè)考試認(rèn)證機(jī)構(gòu)培生愛德思考試局授權(quán)考點(diǎn)。

牛津AQA：

由牛津大學(xué)直屬部門牛津大學(xué)出版社，和英國(guó)學(xué)術(shù)考試局的引領(lǐng)者AQA考試局聯(lián)合建立。

From May to June, the class of 2019 AS students and the class of 2020 one-year IG students will participate in their international examinations, and the examination results will be used as a main reference basis for applying for overseas universities and universities in China's Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions.

St Bees Dongguan has been authorized by Pearson Edexcel and Oxford AQA since the first year of its establishment, so students can take the standardized IGCSE and A-level exams in the school.

Oxford International AQA Examinations: A joint venture between Oxford University Press, part of Oxford University, and AQA, the leading academic Examinations Bureau in the UK.

Mock exam arrangement

According to the annual teaching plan, we will start the mock exam week on April 25th to help students quickly get into the state of preparing for their exams, find the rhythm of the exams that they can adapt to, and make up for the deficiency of any knowledge points.
