On April 27, 2022, IHP students had a chance to explore club and activity options for the rest of the semester. The third term of clubs and activities will begin May 9th, or Week 13, and will run through week 19.

Clubs, like Frisbee and Dance, were offered in both previous terms. Other clubs, like Volunteering and Games and Brain Training, were also offered, but have changed focus or have been updated. Splitting the semester into several terms allows the school to offer a greater variety of activities. In addition, students are encouraged to branch out and try new activities, without needing to commit to one activity for an entire semester.

The goal of these clubs is to get students out of the classroom and broaden their experiences. Frisbee, or Ultimate, is another way for students to be active and engaged in a new and popular sport. Dance allows students to express themselves physically and through music. Volunteering is a way for students to engage with the community around them and contribute in a meaningful way. In Games and Brain Training, students have the freedom to try out multiplayer games, off-screen, and engage on social and strategic levels. Certain games focus on challenging students and can enhance mental acuity.

Our new Cooking, Investing, 3D Printing, and Painting and Pottery clubs all represent options for students to engage in meaningful activities. Economics is a very popular class and investing is an avenue for students to apply their theoretical knowledge. 3D printing is a fantastic application of scientific knowledge and is becoming an increasingly relevant and crucial technology. Of course, everyone loves to eat, but learning how to cook is a great life skill! Painting and Pottery will give students a creative outlet and a chance to express themselves in new ways.

Finally, Basketball and Badminton are very popular among students. One of the missing elements of simply enjoying these sports, is a sense of commitment and discipline. The basketball team was formed with this in mind, instating requirements for students who want to participate and setting a rigorous training schedule. Following the success of the basketball team, we hope to give the same opportunities to students who would like to devote more of their focus and time to Badminton.

The focus of these activities is to give students opportunities to explore and develop their interests. We hope to continue offering activities that will be attractive to any type of student. The key is for students to make choices based on their interests, which will allow them to make better decisions for their future.

2022年4月27日，IHP的學生們參加了本學期Term-3的俱樂部(社團)活動推介會。通過咨詢，學生可以更清楚地了解社團的內(nèi)容，從而做出更合適的選擇。Term-3的俱樂部(社團)活動將從5月9日開始.本學期Term-3的俱樂部(社團)活動將開展7周。

本階段開設的俱樂部(社團)活動，包括飛盤俱樂部、舞蹈俱樂部、志愿者俱樂部、游戲與大腦訓練俱樂部等等，這些俱樂部在之前的一、二階段都有提供。但是，有一些俱樂部，像志愿者俱樂部、游戲與大腦訓練俱樂部，他們的關注內(nèi)容會在第三階段發(fā)生變化與相應提升。把一個學期分成幾個階段，有利于IHP為學生提供更豐富的活動。此外，IHP非常鼓勵學生拓展視野，嘗試新的俱樂部活動，而不是整個學期都只參加同樣的俱樂部。

IHP俱樂部(社團)活動的目標是讓學生走出教室，拓寬他們的視野。飛盤活動是一項新的流行運動，能讓學生保持活躍，鍛煉健身。舞蹈能讓學生通過音樂，用身體釋放自我。志愿服務俱樂部則能讓學生與周圍社區(qū)進行互動，并促使他們以一種有意義的方式為社區(qū)做出貢獻。在游戲與大腦訓練的俱樂部中，學生可以自由地嘗試各種線下多人游戲項目，進行社交與戰(zhàn)略合作。某些游戲?qū)Ｗ⒂谧寣W生挑戰(zhàn)自我，更有利于提高他們的思維敏銳度。

作為IHP Term-3的新成員，烹飪俱樂部、投資俱樂部、3D打印俱樂部、繪畫俱樂部和陶藝俱樂部對學生來說，都是極具意義的。IHP的學分課程中，經(jīng)濟課是非常受歡迎的，而投資俱樂部則為學生提供了讓他們把理論知識應用到生活實際的一條途徑。3D打印正成為一項與人們生活日益相關和關鍵的技術，3D打印俱樂部則是對科學知識的奇妙應用。除此以外，應了中國的俗話“民以食為天”，所以學習烹飪其實也是在學習一項偉大的生活技能!繪畫和陶藝俱樂部有利于培養(yǎng)學生的創(chuàng)造力，讓學生們探索出全新的方式來表達自己。

籃球和羽毛球在學校中很受學生歡迎。但是，如果只是簡單隨意地享受這些運動，那么便會缺失一種承諾和紀律感。于是，籃球隊成立了，籃球隊向所有參加的學生提出一系列的要求,并制定了嚴格的訓練計劃。愛好羽毛球的小伙伴們在本學期也擁有了同樣的機會，他們復制了籃球隊的成功，創(chuàng)建了"IHP羽毛球隊”。

這些俱樂部(社團)活動的重點是讓學生有機會探索和發(fā)展自己的興趣。我們希望能繼續(xù)提供對任何類型的學生都有吸引力的俱樂部(社團)活動，其中的關鍵是讓學生根據(jù)自己的興趣獨立做出選擇，這將有利于他們?nèi)蘸笞鰶Q定時，能夠為自己的未來做出更好的判斷。
