碧桂園學校初中部學子在美國科學挑戰(zhàn)競賽中獲得佳績

熱烈祝賀我校初中部學子在美國科學挑戰(zhàn)(NSL)初中物理競賽、科學入門4級競賽斬獲佳績。

熱烈祝賀我校初中部八年級9名同學參加2022年美國科學挑戰(zhàn)(NSL)初中物理競賽，七年級1名同學參加2022年美國科學挑戰(zhàn)(NSL)科學入門4級競賽喜創(chuàng)佳績，其中：

高新格榮獲滿分獎Perfect Score&金獎Gold，黃梓裕、鄭宸琳、穆怡菲、魏梓如4名同學獲得銀獎Silver，胡紫桐獲得銅獎Bronze，趙美伊、黃圣雯、余文意、祝鈳鑫4名同學獲得優(yōu)秀獎Honorable Mention的優(yōu)異成績。

物理競賽指導教師：戰(zhàn)思寧

NSL物理競賽題目包含了初高中數(shù)學、物理、化學相關知識，在短短的五次賽前輔導中，同學們將老師拓展的大量知識內化吸收并遷移到不熟悉的情境中，跟孩子們日常積極的學習狀態(tài)、良好的學習習慣、恰當?shù)膶W習方法是分不開的，同時，具備一定的觀察和實驗能力、科學思維能力、數(shù)學能力、理解能力、推理能力、綜合分析能力，都是取得優(yōu)異成績的關鍵。

科學競賽指導教師：余衛(wèi)衛(wèi)、陳曉玲

NSL科學競賽題目相比國內課程而言，它包括了生物課程標準中七、八年級相關的知識，甚至涉及到高中生物的知識領域。在賽前輔導過程中，學生結合已有的知識框架，在老師的引導下，復習鞏固了七八年級的知識，在此基礎上吸收了老師們新傳授的高中知識，勇敢地進行自我挑戰(zhàn)，觀察身邊的科學現(xiàn)象、積累科學探究經驗、大膽展示了綜合科學思維。

My advice for students trying to improve their physics ability, or any academic subject for that matter, is just to pay attention in class and complete all coursework to the fullest extend of your abilities. Its pretty generic, but it is effective. Engaging in additional revision or reading can be beneficial, but I think understanding the fundamentals and having a firm grasp on the knowledge already provided to you is more productive than consuming copious amounts of redundant information that you don’t completely understand or need. It also helps to have a pre-existing interest in said subject, which isn’t realistically something you can just acquire through sheer power of will and rather something you develop through life experiences, but it does help . Besides just having personal interests to motivate you, try to remember that physics is also a quintessential subject with numerous real-life applications, meaning that a sufficient understanding of physics is basically required as a functional human being living in a developed country during the 21st century. I’d like to thank my mom, who pushed me to try and exercise my academic ability in a competitive setting, Mr, Zhan who was my first ever physics teacher and I’d like to thank the school for giving me the oppurtunity to compete.
