廣州科學(xué)城愛(ài)莎外籍人員子女學(xué)校正式成為一所擁有IB全流程認(rèn)證的國(guó)際文憑世界學(xué)校(IB World School)

ISA Science City International School is proud to announce that this week the school has received the official letters from the International Baccalaureate Organisation, to confirm that we have been awarded full authorization to deliver the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP). These two programmes now join the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) to enable us to become a fully certified IB World School, offering the three main IB programmes.

廣州科學(xué)城愛(ài)莎外籍人員子女學(xué)校在此隆重宣布：學(xué)校已通過(guò)國(guó)際文憑組織的全面授權(quán)，獲得PYP (國(guó)際文憑幼小項(xiàng)目)和MYP (國(guó)際文憑中學(xué)項(xiàng)目)認(rèn)證，加之于2021年獲得的IBDP (國(guó)際文憑大學(xué)預(yù)科項(xiàng)目)認(rèn)證，正式成為一所擁有IB全流程認(rèn)證的國(guó)際文憑世界學(xué)校(IB World School)，為2-18歲的學(xué)生提供三大主要國(guó)際文憑項(xiàng)目。

The accreditation process was challenging and involved all members of the school community. Beyond the extensive review of policies, resources, facilities and staff readiness, the IB visiting team conducted further meetings to validate that ISASC was implementing the PYP and MYP Programmes to the required international standards in all IB Schools around the World. These meetings included the school leadership, Board, teachers, parents and students.

認(rèn)證過(guò)程繁瑣且極具挑戰(zhàn)性，涉及學(xué)校全體成員。除了對(duì)學(xué)校政策、教學(xué)資源、校園設(shè)施和教職工情況進(jìn)行長(zhǎng)期的綜合評(píng)估外，國(guó)際文憑組織的考察小組還召開(kāi)了一系列會(huì)議，與包括校領(lǐng)導(dǎo)、董事會(huì)、教師、家長(zhǎng)及學(xué)生在內(nèi)的人員進(jìn)行深入交流，以進(jìn)一步審核學(xué)校是否嚴(yán)格遵照IB世界學(xué)校的國(guó)際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)提供PYP和MYP教學(xué)。

Over the past 18 months, faculty from three sub-schools have all undertaken the rigorous journey of developing a solid curriculum supported by the framework of the PYP and MYP. The visiting team made mention of the commitment of all staff and the high level of engagement from the Board to leadership, students, and parents.

在過(guò)去的18個(gè)月里，學(xué)校教學(xué)團(tuán)隊(duì)圍繞PYP和MYP框架進(jìn)行嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)?shù)恼n程開(kāi)發(fā)，融合東西方文化精粹，提供持續(xù)、穩(wěn)定的高質(zhì)量教學(xué)。項(xiàng)目認(rèn)證過(guò)程中，授權(quán)訪問(wèn)小組高度肯定了學(xué)校自建校來(lái)的實(shí)踐與成果，尤其是員工對(duì)學(xué)生的傾情投入，以及包括董事會(huì)、校領(lǐng)導(dǎo)層、學(xué)生和家長(zhǎng)對(duì)學(xué)校建設(shè)的高度參與。

In general, it takes 3 to 5 years for a new school to achieve IB PYP and MYP accreditation, from the candidate list to authorised accreditation, before it can truly meet the standards and implementation requirements of the IBO. ISASC has successfully achieved full authorization within two years, which is a significant achievement and recognition of the school.

通常情況下，對(duì)于一所剛成立的新學(xué)校而言，從IB候選名單到授權(quán)認(rèn)證，需要3-5年的時(shí)間得以達(dá)到IBO國(guó)際文憑組織的課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)和實(shí)施要求。而愛(ài)莎科學(xué)城學(xué)校自建校起，在不到兩年時(shí)間內(nèi)便成功獲得IB全流程認(rèn)證，是對(duì)學(xué)校教育實(shí)力的肯定，具有里程碑意義。
